I'm a nature girl. Love walking the trails viewing the color wild flowers, take joy in watching the deer and bunnies appear on the trails. I loved running in Maui, hiking in Colorado..... So I'm traveling to AZ with my daughter for her soccer showcase. Guess what there is a 5K run just 21 minutes away! I'll need to see this Grasshopper bridge and we will run through a forest preserve.
To celebrate my 13.2 lb loss I treated myself to a running outfit.

Ever stick with something, but no get the result you wanted? Disappointed?
Well, that seems to be the pattern with losing weight for me. I will turn my wheels, stay focus but maybe I'm not patient enough?
That was me in August. I continued my workout plan and tracked my WW pts to a T! I was disappointed that the pounds didn't come off sooner. I would get up at 5am in morning to workout, finish laundry, prepare childrens' breakfasts, lunch and plan ahead for dinner. (All very healthy, not processed foods. ) Quickly get ready for work and run out the door, literally! Is it worth it? YES! 3 weeks later, I have seen the results! On the scale, on the pavement and yes, my attitude! ********* Made my 5% and 13.5 LB gone away!!!!*******
So fellow, WW peeps keep on doing the right things and eventually it will pay off! Slow and steady NOT fast freddy!

I strapped on my Nike+ monitor watchband and my Iphone Runmeter and I off I went running! What got me fired up again? I just decided to sign up for Chicago's 15K Hot Chocolate Race!
So today, I ran 2.5 with speed as my goal 8:40 a mile and 2 miles with 10:58 per mile! I haven't seen a 9 minute mile since 2 years ago before my foot surgery!
BTW: who wouldn't want to race with CHOCOLATE and a CUTE HOODIE!

Ok, I must admit, I was really irritated over a number of things. I followed my plan perfectly, exercised tons, lost active link and only lost .8. So, re-evaluated and decided to change a few things, decreased exercise, who cares what active link thinks!, not to be so strict on my points and have more fun!
I know it was just going to take time for my body to adjust but I juggled many hats just to workout before work, after work..... So I have to live with my schedule, so I loosened up on life!
Well, I have lost 10.6 lbs in the month. My goal was 8lbs but 10 was stretch goal! I did it with the WW and the many tools. THANK YOU!!

Well, after running 31.5 miles and walking 6 miles last week, hitting 21-25 ACTIVE LINK a day, staying ON plan and motivated, I lost .8 lbs. Needless to say, I do feel thinner but I do feel that my body is a mystery to me!
So, the next day after weigh in I decided to put Active Link on my waist for a new day. Before my new day started at work, AL slipped off my waist band unknowingly. LOST! Gone!
$47.00 down the drain.... yes, I'm including internet and tax! I caution all of you starting AL, there is no ribbing on the AL, no clip for security. I can't justify replacing it, only to happen again. I will go back to my NIKE+ and will inform Weight Watchers of this flaw! I don't expect to receive a call from Corporate. But I would like a replacement or discount. I only had been married to it for 14 days!

I think I like ACTIVE LINK.
Day 2 started with laundry, few trips up and down stairs, I went out for my 3 mile run. Worked. Clean house for 1.5 hours. Ran for 4.5 miles. Took dogs for a nightly walk for .5miles.
= 22 activity points Goal is 12 pts. 8 miles for the day.
My review is that is best to do your big activity/exercise/workout in the morning. I didn't like playing catch up the day before. I would rather get a good chunk of AP.
