The Laughing Cow 1/3 Less Fat Smooth Sensations Cream Cheese Spread
I've been using wedges of The Laughing Cow's Light Creamy Swiss cheese as a cream cheese swap for years. But now there's a new swap in town from The Cow, and this one was specifically designed for just that purpose! These spreadable wedges are individually wrapped and packed in wheels, just like the other spreadable cheeses, and there are four flavors to choose from — Classic Cream, Strawberries & Cream, Garden Vegetable (my favorite!), and Cinnamon Cream (tied for my favorite!). They're beginning to appear in stores now, so grab some if you spot 'em,
and spread away!
Each wedge has 45 calories, 4g fat, < 1 - 2g carbs, 0g fiber, 2g protein, and a PointsPlus® value of 1.

Western Bagel The Alternative Bagel
Not quite as doughy and thick as what you'd get at a bagel shop, but the taste is dead-on, and they come in delicious flavors — County White, Roasted Onion, Sweet Wheat, Cinnamon Spice, and Very Blueberry… Yum! Plus, these have at least 7 grams of fiber each. You can find them at many stores nationwide, and they can be purchased online at

Thomas' Bagel Thins
Thin is in when it comes to bread! Okay, so it has been for a while, but I'm definitely not tired of this trend. These flat bagels give you everything you want (classic bagel taste and a nice surface area for your guilt-free spread of choice), but without all the things you don't want (like tons of carbs and calories). P.S. You can make your own lightened-up bagel by removing most of the doughy innards of one you get from a bagel shop.

Kraft Bagel-fuls
These freezer-aisle goodies might look like they should be off-limits, but they're actually pretty reasonable in the stats department. They come stuffed with cream cheese (some also have fruit filling) and are perfect for eating on the go. A little bit sweet, a little bit savory, and a whole lot delicious!

Jimmy Dean Delights Turkey Sausage Whole Grain Bagel
If it's a full-on breakfast sandwich on a bagel that you're craving, this one from Jimmy Dean is your best bet. It comes complete with egg whites and cheese — total morning comfort food! And it's really filling.
Each sandwich has 260 calories, 8g fat, 31g carbs, 4g fiber, 18g protein, and a PointsPlus value of 7.

Brummel & Brown
This light buttery spread is made with nonfat yogurt and tastes great. It's a little bit sweeter than regular butter and definitely not diet-y, yet it has half the calories and fat! A little goes a long way when it comes to adding creamy, buttery flavor to your bagel.

The very berry flavored chobani is actually only 2 points, I know the honey na na one is 3 thou. I add a serving of honey crunch wheat germ for 1 point and get some folate, vitamin e and more protein!

These portion-controlled packets take chocolate-covered pretzels to a whole new level. The ratio of chocolate to pretzel is perfect. And the quality of the chocolate is top-notch. They now come in Dark Chocolate (in addition to the original Milk Chocolate). They're not the easiest to find in stores, but they're definitely worth ordering online (

Jolly Time Healthy Pop Caramel Apple

This is one of my absolute favorite dressings of all time! It packs quite the flavor punch — sweet, salty, and just a tiny bit spicy. There's nothing light-tasting about it, but the stats are awesome. It goes especially well with broccoli cole slaw. Just toss the two together and let 'em spend some time in the fridge.
Each 2-tbsp. serving has 35 calories, 1.5g fat, 5g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g protein, and a PointsPlus value of 1.

Strawberries + Crumbled Reduced-Fat Feta Cheese
This hot couple (a.k.a. Hungry Girl two-ingredient recipe) is a simple and tasty way to satisfy a craving for something sweet 'n salty. Just slice off the tops of 10 strawberries so there's a small opening in each berry, and then fill each opening with reduced-fat feta cheese crumbles — 1/4 cup of cheese (total) is all you need. Enjoy this as a filling snack, or make a bunch and serve 'em at your next party. Berry good!
Each serving (10 large strawberries + 1/4 cup feta cheese) has 123 calories, 4.5g fat, 14.5g carbs, 3.5g fiber, 7.5g protein, and a PointsPlus value of 2.

HG Recipe! Salted Caramel Cocoa Oatmeal Bowl
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
One 25-calorie packet hot cocoa mix (like Swiss Miss Diet or Nestlé Fat Free)
Dash table salt
1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze
2 tsp. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 tsp. fat-free or light caramel dip (like the kinds by Marzetti), softened
1/8 tsp. coarse salt
Optional topping: Fat Free Reddi-wip

Combine oats, cocoa mix, and table salt in a nonstick pot on the stove. Add Almond Breeze and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer.
Cook for 12 - 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until very thick and creamy.
Transfer to a bowl and allow to slightly cool and thicken. Stir in chocolate chips. Drizzle with caramel and sprinkle with coarse salt. If you like, top with Reddi-wip. Eat up!

HG Alternative! If you can't get your hands on Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze, use light vanilla soymilk in its place. Just increase the recipe's calorie count by 30 calories or so.
Each serving (entire recipe) has 292 calories, 9g fat, 46g carbs, 6g fiber, 8g protein, and a PointsPlus value of 8.

Bundle up and head straight to the freezer aisle. There's a ton of impressive guilt-free goodies you wouldn't expect to find there...

Amy's Organic Hot Cereal Bowls
While instant oatmeal is really easy to make, this oatmeal is truly a cinch! Just pop a bowl in the microwave — no water needed! And you can eat it right out of the container. Choose from hearty options like Steel-Cut Oats and Multi-Grain. There's even a frozen Cream of Rice option, which is gluten-free and made from organic brown rice. Amy's does it again!
Each 9-oz. container has 170 - 220 calories, 1 - 3.5g fat, 39 - 42g carbs, 2 - 5g fiber, 2 - 6g protein, and a PointsPlus® value of 5 - 6.

Village Harvest Golden Quinoa 100% Whole Grains
Don't be intimidated by quinoa — it's delicious and really good for you. And if you're worried you won't be able to cook your grains to perfection, this frozen bag is your friend. If you're feeling adventurous, the company has an entire line of whole-grain mixes you can find in the freezer aisle — things like Farro & Red Rice and Wheatberry & Barley. Stonyfield Oikos Organic Nonfat Greek Frozen Yogurt
Even if you're not typically a fan of fat-free Greek yogurt, I highly recommend giving this stuff a try. It's creamy, sweet, not too tart, and packed with protein. Choose from Blueberry, Honey, Vanilla, and Chocolate. Ice cream and ordinary fro yo have some serious competition!
Each 1/2-cup serving has 100 - 110 calories, 0g fat, 19 - 22g carbs, 0 - 1g fiber, 6g protein, and a PointsPlus value of 3.

Tabatchnick Vegetarian Chili
Think outside the can (and can opener). This chili is found in the freezer aisle! And unlike many canned varieties, it has a reasonably low amount of sodium (360mg per serving). As the name implies, it's vegetarian-friendly, plus it's all-natural. The stats are impressive enough that you can enjoy it alone as a snack or as part of a meal. And look at all that fiber and protein!
Each pouch has 180 calories, 3.5g fat, 28g carbs, 8g fiber, 12g protein, and a PointsPlus value of 4.

Kettle Cuisine Chicken Soup with Rice Noodles, Tomato Soup with Garden Vegetables, Three Bean Chili, and Organic Mushroom and Potato Soup
Look! More items you typically buy in a can. I highly recommend giving frozen soup a try — especially if it's from Kettle Cuisine. These are all-natural and gluten-free, and you get to eat a big bowl for not too many calories or fat grams. Just read the labels carefully. Some have much better stats than others. I called out the best ones here!

Dole Frozen Fruit Single-Serve Cups

Just let it thaw and you can snack straight from the cup, or add it to a serving of fat-free Greek yogurt or fat-free/low-fat cottage cheese for a satisfying snack. Nice work, Dole!
