I tend to go overboard when summer fruit hits the market and lug home way more than my family can eat. So two days ago I turned some almost ready-to-kick-the-bucket blueberries and strawberries into a fabulous Mixed Berry Crumble (http://bit.ly/WW_crumble).
My kids helped me make it and my son practically finished half of it in the same day. It only has five ingredients and really lets the fruits’ natural flavors shine. It was such a success that yesterday I sliced up some white nectarines and plums to use with the same recipe. Fantastic!
I have a mango that’s just a few hours from going too soft. Maybe I’ll try a tropical fruit crumble?
Do you have a favorite fruit crumble combination? Let me know!
