Aldi has a Fit & Active line that provides healthier options and I went around the store calculating the points. Here are some great finds I got from there - some of which are even better than the healthy options in stores.
Fit & Active Strawberry Cereal Bar: 1 POINTS Value - This bar is the size of the WW 2 POINTS bars for only 1!
Fit & Active Rice Cereal with Strawberries: 2 POINTS - This is equivalent to Special K with red berries - for less than half the price!
Fit & Active Vanilla Yogurt: 3 POINTS for 1 cup - Light versions such as Yoplait and Dannon are 4 points for a one cup serving.
Fit & Active Frozen Meals: These Frozen entrees vary in POINTS value depending on the meal, but they are equivalent to the Smart Ones Frozen entrees, but only cost 99 cents each!
Fit & Active Mini Chocolate Rice Cakes: 1 POINTS - this is a great for when you need a Chocolate fix, but don't want to use up too many POINTS
If you have an Aldi store near you and you would like to save some money on groceries, I suggest shopping here. We purchased $130.00 dollars in groceries today (thats 2 weeks worth for us) that if we were to buy at our local grocery store, we would have spent at least $170. Thats a savings of at least $40.00!
