So the other day I decided to do that Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD to try to get my butt in gear and lose some weight. Apparently you can lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days and I'm all for weight loss and trying new things so I bought the DVD and tried it this morning in my living room. I watched it before I did it so that I could get a sense of what it was going to entail and I only watched the level one program because that's all I want to do so far and I thought to myself, "Hey, this is going to be pretty easy, I won't have any trouble with any of that."
BOY WAS I WRONG.
Jillian Michaels kicked my a**! I can't even explain how sore I felt after it and it was only 20 minutes of a LEVEL ONE work out. I felt overly pathetic when I got done and I was sweating so much it was dripping off my nose. Oh well. I'm going to keep it up and attempt to lose the 20 pounds in 30 days and get into some new clothes even if Jillian has to smack me around a little bit.
I'm even going to try to do the work out twice a day to get better at it every day and then maybe I'll get more activity points.
