1 Fudgesicle is 2 points, but if you have two . ..

it's 5 points! This was covered in our WW meeting today, and you should have heard the gnashing of teeth, and the nervous laughter, and the cries about "this is too complicated!" Apparently it's because there's only 4 points of fiber allowed in any one serving. So 2+2=5.

If you had the second Fudgesicle later in the week, or even the next day, it would only equal 2 points.

And sometimes, when you combine things in a recipe, such as a bagel thin, with egg beaters, 1 slice of WW cheese, and 1 slice Canadian bacon, all items equal to 1 point, it is figured as 5 points, again--because of the fiber rule.

Oh, we went CRAZY when we heard that. It was kind of funny, actually.

Sorry but I just checked the box and a serving of fudgsicles is 2 bars. They're two points it you do the math. 2 fudgsicles equal 80 calories...not sure how you're getting 5 points from that. Maybe you're looking at some other kind of fudge bar...but not fudgsicles. http://www.popsicle.com/product/detail/107678/fudgsicle-no-sugar-added-pops

The way I think of it is, WW had to limit the # of fiber grams that whittle down the points, b/c otherwise, you could be eating these huge whopping amounts of food b/c they contain fiber. Our leader did say you could ignore this phenomenon if it's all working for you--in other words, you get on the scale and it's going down. But some people do everything right, and the scale doesn't budge, or it goes up. And they could be eating as many as 14 extra points/week--not realizing this rule.

I've been trying to explain this phenomenon to my mom, who does the plan with me. I can't seem to get her to get it, and she's too embarrassed to ask the leader- unfortunately. Or maybe she is just in denial. It a case of the missing points :P hated it!
