it was pretty good :) I added extra cheese to half of the casserole for the hubby and son. they enjoyed it and so did I. I made some broccoli and sweet peas as a side but only had the broccoli and casserole. will make it again for sure!

Tater tot casserole

1 pound lean ground beef
1 can of healthy request cream of chicken soup
1 can of healthy request cream of mushroom soup
36 tater tots or more for extra points.. (it looked like it needed more so I added a few more to hubs side)
1 cup of reduced fat cheese

Brown beef and season with salt and pepper to your liking, mix the cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soups in a bowl. When the meat is done, mix the soups in with the beef. Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with non stick spray and lay the tater tots on bottom (I didn’t use them all.. maybe 2/3 of the bag). Pour beef/soups mixture on top and sprinkle with cheese (you can use more if you’d like). Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

8 servings @ 6 weight watchers p+

You can add a can of sweet peas or green beans to your meat/soup mixture before baking if you’d like. I think also next time I will double the tatertots and see how many points it increases.. shouldn't be too bad and it was very filling.

p.s. my cutting wasn't even but I counted it as 1.5 servings anyway bc I stole a few tater tots from my hubs side :) the tots actually get soft and are no longer "tots" more like shredded potatoes. yum!

I made this tonight and it was yummy. I weighed everthing out and made my own mini-casserole, but came up with 11 pts +. I baked the potatoes first so they would be crispy.

I loove tater tot casserole. Everyone makes it different. If you want to mix it up a little, I add some lipton's dry onion soup for flavor, and corn.

Oh! Tater Tots are one of my trigger foods. The casserole looks yummy. I wonder if you could use regular shredded potatoes instead?
