I’m so excited for dinner tonight. My boyfriend and I are going to a Hibachi with another couple for a double date…woo hoo!! I LOVE Hibachi’s and we haven’t been to one in a very long time. Over a year at least. I actually think the last time was June of 2009, but that’s neither here nor here, lol. I have a plan of attack already laid out for the night, so I’m confident about being in control of dinner tonight.
The restaurant we go to always brings out soup and salad with your meal. Personally, I don’t care for the soup, so I always skip that, but I will definitely be having my salad (and possibly my boyfriend’s if he doesn’t want it!). And as much as I absolutely looooove the fried rice they serve, I know the have it full of butter, so I am going to forego that entirely. I know that if I even have a little bit of the rice that it’ll just turn into the whole plateful, so I am going to pass on that when they serve it. I plan to eat all of the veggies that they serve first (and again, hopefully some of my boyfriends, haha!), and then have half of the Hibachi Chicken for my meal. I searched “hibachi” in etools and found points for Hibachi Vegetables and Hibachi Chicken, so I’m going by those points, and adding 1 or 2 on there on top of it….just in case.
So that is my plan of attack for my Friday night out. I’m already happy with myself for just planning that out. Before Weight Watchers, I would have ate my whole plate full of fried rice, chicken and veggies. So I feel proud of myself for cutting it back so much, but still going and enjoying myself. What the rest of the weekend will bring for me, I’m not quite sure. But starting it out on such a good foot will help me stay on top of things.
Here’s wishing everyone a wonderful and on point weekend. Have fun and enjoy yourselves! :)
