Not losing weight

Written by cutie7725 on 2/14/2011 11:02 AM | COMMENTS (19)

When I was on Weight Watchers before (old plan) I lost 50 pounds. I have been on the new plan for two weeks now and have gained three pounds. I am sticking to my points, especially durning the week and use my weekly points on the weekends to eat that special something or to drink with my friends and family. I do not go over on my weekly points, so why am I not losing weight.

I do not like the new plan I feel like I am eating all the time and to much food and I have trouble durning the week using all my points, I guess becasue I am use to the old plan.

Can you help me figure out what I am doing wrong, I would really appreciate it.

Have a great day everyone.

I joined two weeks ago and have so far GAINED weight. I was on weight watchers a few years ago (old plan) and did really well. I keep track of everything I eat and have changed my diet immensely to include healthier foods. I DO NOT go over my daily points and hardly use my "points plus" points. I also excercise more now than ever. I know it is only two weeks, but I did not join this program to GAIN weight....

I am so disgusted. I do not seem to lose anything, and I am sticking to the points and doing more exercise than I have done in a long time--went to the gym for 9 days straight and did 35 minutes of fat burn on the cross trainer each day. No change. I do have an appt. with an endocrinologist for next month. Maybe it is my thyroid, although my most recent test came back within the normal to low range. This is totally insane and makes me want to sit down with a spoon and jar of peanut butter.

Was on WW old plan - lost 30 pounds, consistent loss each week. Went back on WW points plus and am really struggling. I track online, am good about entering everything. I also exercise a lot - weights, treadmill. I've decided to go back to the old plan - still have the old book and points calculator. I am using online but deducting points off the top to match the old plan and quick adding foods where points differ between plans - like fruit. I am hoping this does the trick.

I am also having trouble with the new program. I have been working out 3-4times a week I have used my activity pts and some of my extra points.I am losing but only ozs. I am going to try and only use the activity pts. I also think I am eating too much fruit - going to try and cut back.

I am struggling with the new WW - have cut back in watermelon and bananas as on other diets they are too high in sugar - I also am trying to watch carbs (used to do Atkins) as carbs have always been my downfall - I need a quick WW week to jump start my diet -

I'm wit with you - I started WW two weeks ago and have only lost 1 1/2 pounds - I watch what I eat...could do better on water. I think I am going to stop weighing myself every day.............. MB

I have been on this plan for almost 3 months now and have lost NO WEIGHT at all! Its very annoying that I spent the money to sign up and am not seeing any results with it. I'm giving up with this and going to try something different. I'm so disapointed with the program!

I am on week 7, have not gone over my Points Plus ever and haven't lost anything for 4 weeks. So far I have only lost 3 1/2 lbs. 2 which were on the first week. I am trying not to give up hope, but not happy with my results at all. I have been recording every bite I put into my mouth, and drinking water, and making my own food (lower sodium). I need som hope here!!

I feel the same way. Did anyone adjust something? I'm guessing those that quit won't be responding.

I'm having the same issues. I've been on the plan for 3 weeks. I have not lost a pound. I do not use all of my daily points or my flex points. I feel like I have too many points to lose any weight.

I am having the same problem. I have been on the plan (old one) before and always lost 3-5 pounds for the first two weeks. I've been on the points plus plan for two weeks now and haven't even lost 4 pounds. I'm counting absolutely everything and not using my extra weekly points. I feel like I'm eating all the time...its weird. My sister-in-law started and has done great. I'm trying not to get discouraged, but its hard. Have you any more luck since you posted this a month ago? All the best :)

I changed my weigh in day from Monday to Tuesday and that has helped, also I am tracking everything that goes into my mouth and am trying really hard to add some exercise I went for a walk yesterday that almost killed me, my feet hurt terribly and I was so out of breath that I kept having to stop just to catch my breath, but I am going again today however I will plan on only a 10 to 15 miniute walk this time and see how that goes, maybe I just need to start out small and work my way up.

I am having the same issue. I am tracking my points strictly, especially now that I am using the iphone app, but have been gaining weight the last 3 weeks. I don't use my activity points and have only been using 10 weekly points on average.

I am working on drinking more water as with everything else I do it during the week but dont drink as much on the weekends. I am currently not exercising I keep procrastinating on that subject. Going to try and get started tonight.

Personally I try not to use all of my extra 49 points. Also, the weekends are the hardest so sometimes if you indulge too much on the weekends it kinda messes up your whole week so be mindful of that. Also just have your 3 meals and a fruit as your snack between meals so it doesn't feel like you are eating all the time. How's your water intake? R u working out? The best recommendation would be to start working out if you haven't and only use those activity points you've earned, nt the weeky.

Could you be eating too much fruit? I had the same problem and my leader told me to count the fruit as a point.

Make sure you are recalculating all of your food to the new points plus program. I know someone who was still using the old points for foods in the new program, lets just say she was a little surprised this past Friday, when she indicated her english muffin was 1 point and I said no its not its 3 points
