I was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno a couple of weeks ago and I talked with Jay about my “baked” chicken wings. It seems you all wanted to know a little more about how I make them. It is the easiest thing. First I season the chicken wings. I don’t have a recipe or anything; I just grab whatever I have. Some of the things I always throw on them are salt (or seasoning salt if it’s in my pantry), pepper, and paprika. Next, in a pot of water that I’ve flavored with chicken bouillon cubes, I boil the chicken wings until they are tender. I line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. I put them on a cookie sheet in a single layer and bake at 400 degrees, making sure I flip them during baking so both sides come out crispy and golden brown. Finally, I toss them with a little of my favorite Louisiana hot sauce! Love it!
