I remember the old days...two years ago...when I use to get an 8 Point Oven Roasted Chicken Sub at Subway. Now, it's 11 Points. Either I use to count incorrectly or the points really have increased. 11 Points is huge for a 6 inch Oven Roasted Chicken Sub. With that being said, I had an 11 Point pita from Pita Pit today and it was definately worth it. Honestly, I could have eaten half of it (if I knew it would warm up ok) and been satisified. As a result of eating it all, I will be full until dinner.
My hardest hurdle with recommitting is trying to forget the old values (aka: The Good Ole Days) and embrace Points Plus. We do get more points now, right?
I don't mean to beat up on Subway. They use to be my "go to" place when I needed a quick bite to eat. With Points Plus, I'm making more meals at home and it's better for me.
On a positive note, it's Day 6 for me, and today is a common day that those who make "resolutions" or start diets begin to break. I just need to past the month and a half stage I'll be unbeatable.
