Routines: Searching the supermarket for new snacks

Whenever I go grocery shopping, I keep my eye out for new low PointsPlus value foods – or new flavors of some old favorites. It has become a little game for me. How many new products can I spot in one trip? (I know, kind of silly!)

But I’m a part-time working mom of three kids so just being able to go to the grocery store by myself makes me kind of giddy. (I know, getting pathetic, but hey, how many of you moms understand where I’m coming from?!)

Back to my point…last week I really lucked out. I discovered Sheila G's Original Brownie Brittle. Wow! So good! They’re like crisp, thin sheets of chocolaty goodness. They have such great mouth feel, taste and texture – just like the perfectly crisp edges on a pan of homemade brownies. You get six pieces of the chocolate chip variety for 3 PointsPlus values. Such a worthy treat!

Do you have any fabulous low PointsPlus value food finds? Please share!

Sugar free chocolate pudding with cool whip is my favorite low cal/low point treat. I make pudding in small coffee cups to limit portion size.
