ActivityLink not posting accurately on website

Monday, August 06, 2012

I finished first week of challenge and found that the tracker isn't tracking on the same time frame as the Weight Watchers website - help desk at Phillips said they're working on it. Would have thought that was a pretty basic thing to have working properly before rolling this out. The good thing is that it truly is helping me to get more active - want to see the lights light up at over 100% for each day.

I was wanting to purchase ActivityLink and was wondering if the bugs have been taken care of. I am using JAWS UP and it counts steps and sleep per day. Is there a posting that describes what this tool does?

First week using ActivityLink

Friday, July 27, 2012

Finished the Assessment Week using the ActivityLink. Thankfully my leader gave us a lot of information about the program so I wasn't totally shocked to see that where I was logging 26 activity points for the week (counting a moderate level as I fit the description) the rest of the week I would simply sit on the couch as I have for the last year since becoming unemployed, the "gadget" logged me at 7 activity points.
I realize that if I am going to succeed at this, I need every tool that is available to me.

I've been averaging 1.5 lbs a week for my 8 weeks on program and am having a difficult time accepting what appears to me to be such a slow weight loss. BUT I have not felt deprived for one second, I eat whatever I want, what I want to eat keeps changing - I haven't even wanted the ice cream or candy that I'd been pigging out on when I came back to WW. For the first time I truly can envision me succeeding at getting to goal weight and staying there for the rest of my life. I have never tried to make weight loss a life-style change until now.

I have a new life ahead of me, so do you.

I go to Crossfit 5-6 times a week, including during my assessment week and it showed me that I NEVER was working out at high intensity - during a Crossfit class, you sweat through multiple layers of clothes and gasp for breath, some days I only had 13 minutes of moderate intensity exercise - WTH!
